yr2k: What will you find in Japanese music scene? - It's extreme boredom... We (yr2k) are not critisising... It has been peculiar quality of Japanese arts. Great arts in Japan always tried to be extremely simple and concerned with the beauty of forms - not with richness in contents, which made them look extremely boring on the surface. What many of Japanese contemporary music now has lack of is that beauty of simplicity. They pretend to have something to claim, which makes their sounds ugly and "really" boring. We have not yet reached where we would like to be - that extreme simplicity and beauty in it.
